When purchasing sand washers, many customers are confused: should they choose wheel type or screw type? In fact, there is no absolute good or bad between the two, only whether they are suitable for your project needs. The key is to choose according to your sand type, output requirements and quality standards.

If you are engaged in general construction projects, such as building construction and road construction, and the sand is large-grained (0.5-5mm) with low impurity content, wheel sand washers are more suitable. They have high output, low water and energy consumption, simple operation, and are easy to set up on construction sites. They can meet the basic sand purification needs of most construction projects, and the cost performance is very high.

If your project requires high-purity fine sand, such as concrete precasting, bridge construction, or high-end building decoration, screw sand washers are the better choice. They have strong impurity removal capacity, can thoroughly clean fine sand of 0.1-2mm, and the finished sand has uniform particles and high strength. It should be noted that screw sand washers are more suitable for areas with abundant water resources due to their higher water consumption.
