Raw material pre-handling is the essential first procedure before formal crushing and sand making processing. It focuses on purifying raw ores and optimizing material status instead of simple material transferring.
Most original mining materials contain surface soil, mixed sundries, soft weathered stones and oversized bulk blocks. Without effective pre-handling, these impurities will seriously affect finished product quality, accelerate wear parts consumption and cause frequent equipment blockage.

Standard pre-handling work mainly includes multiple core processing steps.
First is surface mud and soil stripping treatment, which clears attached dirt on rock surfaces to lower mud content of final aggregates.
Second is bulk material sorting, separating ultra-large stones that exceed feeding specification to avoid abnormal load of primary crushers.
Third is preliminary screening separation, grading fine powder and soft miscellaneous materials in advance to realize preliminary purification.
Different material sources need targeted pre-handling modes.
For hard rock raw materials such as granite and basalt, emphasis shall be placed on removing weathered layers and foreign mixed materials.
For river pebble and mixed stone materials, focus on mud removal and light impurity separation.
For construction waste recycled materials, classified sorting and harmful substance elimination are the core points.
Reasonable raw material pre-handling can stabilize later whole production rhythm, reduce failure rate of main processing equipment, effectively control finished stone and sand quality indexes, and greatly improve overall economic benefits of the production line.
