The jaw crusher relies on mechanical linkage movement to realize periodic squeezing and breaking of stones. Its core mechanical principle is eccentric shaft driving swing crushing, which is the most fundamental crushing mechanism for hard rock processing.
1. Core Power Transmission Principle
The motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate at a fixed speed. The rotational motion of the eccentric shaft is converted into vertical and horizontal swing displacement of the movable jaw. This mechanical conversion transforms continuous rotary power into periodic reciprocating crushing power.

2. Moving Jaw Swing Crushing Logic
When the moving jaw swings toward the fixed jaw, the material inside the crushing cavity is squeezed, bent and sheared to complete primary fragmentation. When the movable jaw swings away, the broken materials fall down by gravity to complete discharging and material replenishing. This cycle repeats continuously to achieve batch stone crushing.

3. Toggle Plate Force Balancing Mechanism
The toggle plate is not only a force transmission part but also a mechanical safety structure. It bears the reaction force generated during crushing, balances the unilateral stress of the movable jaw, and keeps the whole frame stable under high-load impact.
4. Cavity Layered Crushing Principle
The crushing cavity presents an upper-large and lower-small trapezoidal structure. Materials receive layered squeezing from top to bottom. Large stones are crushed in the upper cavity, and small particles are refined in the lower cavity, realizing progressive particle size reduction.
